Christmas Short: It Was Still Holy

This short video was so much fun to make! I wish I could have captured the look on my daughter's face when I stared to bring in things from around the house and make a big mess in our normally pretty clean living room (the advantages of having older kids). 

I remember too well the desire to create the perfect Christmas as a young mom and all the undo pressure that this put on me. Now that my children are older the things that they remember about Christmas isn't the whether the house was clean or not or even if they got a certain gift or not, it's more about feeling loved, favorite traditions such as making peanut butter bon bons together, and finding ways to serve one another. 

I hope that whether your house is messy or clean on Christmas you can take time to look for the ways that it was holy and brought your family together. Merry Christmas!
